音楽の話
６月９日はロックの日。
個人的なベスト10をつくってみる。
20年以上前から頭の中にはあって、常に更新し続けている。
44歳、洋楽を聞き始めて30年以上の今だとこんな感じ。
 
具体的に候補を挙げて並べていたらものすごく時間がかかって９日は間に合わず。
ようやく完成。
ベスト100にしてみたが、それでも追いつかない。
とはいえ眺めてみるとまだまだ全然勉強が足りないなあと。
狭くて薄くて浅い。
 
こういう時に難しいのは The Beatles / The Rolling Stones / Bob Dylan の置き所。
いまだにしっくりこない。
例えば、Steely Dan 辺りが入ってこないのは、ちょうどいいアルバムが見つからないから。
ベストはよく聞くけど、という。XTCとか B-52's や The Cars なんかもそうですね。
サルサの扱いに困り、ジャズよりはかろうじてロックに近いだろうか…
演奏というよりもメンタリティー、アティチュードとして。
ソウルやファンクも同様。
 
10位までは常に心の中にあるもの。
60位までは定番の名盤から。
そこから先100位までが僕らしさかな。
