このところ忙しくてずっとチェックできていなかったけど、
昨晩久しぶりに noisetrade.com を覗いてみた。
届いたメールの件名からいくつか気になるのがあった。
メールアドレスと引き換えにアーティストの提供する独自音源がダウンロードできる。
新しいアルバムからサンプラー的に何曲かというケースも多いけど、
ここでしか入手できないライヴ音源や未発表ヴァージョン集が見つかることもまた多い。
僕は以前、The Civil Wars や Low のライヴ・アルバムを手に入れた。
期間限定公開で残念ながら機会を逸したけど、
Radiohead「Live at Tramps June 1, 1995」というのもあった。
一昨年の一時期たくさんダウンロードした中で僕は
Holly Williams, Boy, Elin Ruth, Caro Emerald
といった素晴らしいアーティストと出会った。
（これまで挙げたものは今のところ公開終了したようだ）
昨晩は Kiki Rowe, Violents, Elizabeth & The Catapult,
Charlie Faye, Sleeping at Last といった辺りが目に留まった。
僕の場合は純粋に、ジャケットのデザイン、存在感で選ぶ。
